About this work
A wide, elevated view sweeps across a bustling 1950s diner. Two couples jitterbug on a black-and-white checkerboard floor beside a lit jukebox, while a waitress in a blue uniform and white apron crosses the room with a tray of milkshakes and burgers. On the right, patrons crowd a counter lined with chrome-and-red stools.
Warm pendant lamps and neon trim give the room an even, golden glow with no harsh shadows. Route 66 shield signs and Coca-Cola discs hang on the walls, and balloons and streamers near a big round clock hint at a small celebration. The clean linework and confident blocks of colour read like a vintage advertising poster, with crisp chrome and glass set against soft, brushy skin and fabric.
