Privacy policy

AGASVISUALS is the trade name of Fatih Kızılca, a sole proprietorship registered in Türkiye, at Derviş Ali Mah., Salma Tomruk Cad., Stad Saray Ap. No: 27, İç Kapı No: 10, Fatih/İstanbul. We decide how the personal data described here is used: we are its “controller” under the EU and UK GDPR and under Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

Like every website, ours receives the technical details your browser sends with each request: your IP address, the page asked for, the time, and your browser’s name. Our server, hosted by Contabo GmbH in Germany, keeps them in its access logs for about two weeks to keep the site running and safe, then deletes them. Cloudflare, which carries the site to you and shields it from attacks, sees the same details.

Most pictures come from our own image address (img.agasvisuals.com, stored with Cloudflare). The room photos on a work’s page load from Etsy’s image servers, and a picture we haven’t copied yet may load from Google’s, so those companies see your IP address too, as with any site that shows their images.

We use no analytics, no advertising, no social media plugins and no tracking. Our fonts come from our own address. We set no cookies of our own; Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie (such as __cf_bm, for at most 30 minutes) to tell people from bots.

The site also keeps a one-line technical note for the length of a visit (session storage), so it can reload once after we publish an update. Clearing your browser’s data for this site removes both.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (GDPR article 6(1)(f); KVKK article 5(2)(f)).

If you write to us, your message and our reply stay in our mailbox (Gmail, by Google) until the matter is settled and we no longer need them for our records. We use them only to answer you.

A purchase on our Etsy shop is made with Etsy, Inc., under Etsy’s own privacy policy. We see what Etsy shows its sellers about an order (such as your name, Etsy username and the works bought) and use it only for that order.

The reviews on this site come from our Etsy shop and are shown without the reviewer’s name.

• Contabo GmbH (Germany): the server the site and its shop run on.
• Cloudflare, Inc. (United States, with servers worldwide): delivery, security and our image storage.
• Google LLC (United States): our mailbox, and the odd picture not yet on our image address.
• Etsy, Inc. (United States): purchases on Etsy and the room photos on work pages, as a controller in its own right.

We don’t sell or rent personal data, and we share it with no one else unless the law requires us to. We make no automated decisions about you.

Several of these companies are based, or process data, outside Türkiye, the EU and the UK, mainly in the United States. Where the law asks for it, those transfers rest on the safeguards the providers offer, such as the EU standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

You can ask us at any time:

• whether we hold data about you, what it is, and for a copy of it;
• to correct it, or to delete it (we keep what the law makes us keep, such as order records);
• to limit or stop its use, or to object to it;
• to receive it in a portable format;
• in Türkiye, also the other rights in KVKK article 11, such as learning who your data was shared with and claiming compensation for damage from unlawful processing.

If you think we got something wrong, you can complain to the data protection authority where you live: in Türkiye the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK, kvkk.gov.tr), in the UK the ICO, in the EU your national authority.

The site isn’t aimed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
