A single sprig with pointed leaves is cut out in solid black and set at the centre of a plain cream field. Behind its upper leaves sits a round terracotta sun, a little off-centre, which the leaves partly cover.

There are only two shapes and a few colours, and a soft paper-like grain runs through the background. The picture feels calm, warm and uncluttered.
