A carved orange pumpkin with a wide toothy grin wears dark round sunglasses. A skeleton hand reaches in from the left and holds a lit match up to its mouth, as if to light a cigarette.

The pumpkin sits on weathered wooden planks in front of a pale turquoise wall with patches of cream. Thick, visible brushwork gives the glowing orange and the bone-white fingers a tactile, buttery finish.
