Three profiles face the same direction and overlap one another. Each is filled with a flat earthy colour: muted sage green, warm ochre and rust-red terracotta. A single flowing black line loops across all three and picks out the eyes, noses, lips and ears.

The pale sage background has a faint speckled grain. Together with the simple shapes and restrained palette, it gives the piece a calm, modern feel.
