Dabs of thick paint form a field of wildflowers in blush pink, ivory, pale yellow and a few lavender spikes. Beyond the field, two soft-edged trees stand to either side of a gentle valley.

Blue-grey hills fade into a pale sky, and the whole scene is wrapped in a calm, misty light. The muted palette and feathery edges give it the feel of a half-remembered summer morning.
