A small black silhouette of a witch in a pointed hat rides her broom across the face of an enormous amber full moon. Her cloak streams behind her. The moon's cratered surface glows in burnt orange and gold, with a bright halo around its edge.

Dark storm clouds frame the scene in heavy, sculpted strokes of charcoal, umber and brown. A handful of bats flutter at the edges. The palette knife texture is thick and visible, so the whole sky looks carved from paint.
