Soft horizontal bands of water, hills and sky build this abstract sunset, washed in dusty rose, blush pink and soft peach. A single metallic gold sun hangs at the center of the sky, and its perfectly circular reflection is mirrored in the water directly below.

Translucent washes overlap and bleed at their edges into soft atmospheric gradients, while slate grey, pale sage and deep olive green settle the shorelines and hills. Fine gold paint detail gives the sun a foil-like sheen, and the whole scene feels serene, tranquil and dreamlike.
