Individually painted square tiles fill the canvas from edge to edge, in blush pink, lavender, peach, sage, teal, mustard and magenta, with small navy accents. The grid lines are slightly irregular and hand-drawn, so the whole reads as a patchwork quilt or a mosaic.

Thin golden hairlines run between the tiles like grout or stitching and outline each square. Heavy palette-knife ridges and loose diagonal strokes give every tile its own surface, under even, flat light.
