Undulating horizontal bands sweep diagonally across the full canvas in coral pink, burnt orange, ochre, deep teal, sage, plum and cream. Layered and overlapping, they leave no empty space and no single focal point.

Each band is made of many small side-by-side dabs applied with a notched palette knife, leaving dense ridges that catch the light. The result is a rhythmic, corduroy-like texture and a cheerful, energetic mood.
