A sleek brown dachshund sits upright in a thick white bathrobe, its hair wrapped in a swirl of white towel. Round pink sunglasses sit on its nose, and one paw holds a glass of deep red wine at chest height. Its calm, direct stare gives the scene a dry sense of humor.

The pink background is loosely brushed, with streaks of rose, blush and near-white left visible. The thick, buttery strokes on the robe and towel have a tactile, painterly feel. Warm caramel fur and the wine's dark red are the only strong accents in an otherwise soft, rosy palette.
