Three large stylized wildflowers, peony or anemone-like, are spaced across a wide canvas at left, center and right, in ivory, mocha-brown and espresso-dark tones. Dense overlapping leaves and clusters of muted amber-gold accent petals fill the space between them, leaving no gaps against the near-black ground.

The paint is laid on in heavy palette-knife impasto, with thick dabbed and dragged ridges that form each petal and leaf. Soft, diffused light catches the raised edges, creating subtle highlights and shadowed grooves without harsh contrast.
