A single circular wreath sits centered on a dark ground, with generous space around it. Painterly oak- and maple-shaped leaves in cream, bronze, rust and deep brown overlap in clusters, with small dried cream florets and dark sage sprigs woven through. There is no ribbon or bow, only foliage.

Soft, low-key light falls across the upper leaves and fades into shadow at the base. Thick, palette-knife-like strokes pick out the pale leaves, while thinner glazes sit in the shadows, over a visible linen canvas weave. The mood is moody, elegant and warm.
