Six small and medium dogs sit in a neat row on pink cushions at the edge of a turquoise pool. Each one wears pink-framed sunglasses and looks straight at the viewer. Fringed pink umbrellas and pink loungers frame the scene on both sides.

Behind the pool is a low, flat-roofed house with walls of glass. Dry brown mountains and a few palm trees rise beyond it. The light is bright and sunny, and the soft pinks and sandy creams give the photograph a retro, playful look.
