Seven or eight heirloom pumpkins in varied sizes are stacked in a clustered pyramid at the lower center of the frame, mostly in warm orange and terracotta with a single pale cream pumpkin among them. Dry, curling green-brown stems crown several of them, a few loose leaves lie at the base, and the pumpkins rest on a softly draped neutral linen cloth.

Above them, a plain, softly mottled warm wall leaves generous quiet space. Soft, diffused light gives each pumpkin gentle rounded shading, while loose, confident strokes, thicker dabbed highlights on the ridges and visible canvas grain give the still life a cozy, nostalgic warmth.
