Pale butterflies with delicate veined wings flutter above a meadow of tall olive-green grasses and small pink blossoms. Behind them the sky is a soft wash of teal, cream and dusty rose, with clouds smeared across it in broad strokes.

The paint is piled on in heavy, sculptural ridges, so the wings, petals and grass blades stand out from the canvas. The muted pastel palette and warm glow make the scene feel quiet, tender and dreamlike.
