Two small silhouetted figures stand low and slightly left of center in a vast, edge-to-edge field of pink. One strides forward in a flowing coat or dress and a wide-brimmed hat, while the other waits quietly, facing it. A faint, loosely painted trail runs beneath them, the only hint of ground in a space with no horizon.

The light is soft and even, with no clear source, so the whole surface seems to glow from within. Blush rose, dusty mauve and faded rosewood melt into one another, and only the figures hold a sharp edge. Palette-knife and brush marks leave gentle ridges that give the quiet color field a tactile, handmade feel.
