Two rabbits face each other in a mirrored pose, their long ears rising among daisies, buds and slender leaves. Dense hatching describes the fur and whiskers, while the flowers fill the frame in a tapestry of petals and stems.

The image is built from cream lines carved out of a deep black ground, like a printmaker's block. The result is intricate, symmetrical and a little storybook-like.
