About this work
Irregular rectangles of burnt orange, ivory, dusty lavender, brick red, rose, mustard and sage press edge to edge across the whole canvas. The loose grid recalls Mondrian and the Bauhaus, with no central focus and no sense of depth.
A fine crosshatch weave runs through every block, so the crisp geometry feels soft and tactile, like a hand-woven panel or needlepoint. Charcoal accents anchor the warm palette, and the even light keeps the mood playful and modern.
