A little ghost in a simple white sheet, with two round black eyes, waits on a faint dirt path between leaning gravestones. A sleek black cat lies calmly on a large headstone at the edge of the scene, and three bats drift across a pale, overcast sky.

Bare dark trees on one side and rust-orange autumn foliage on the other close in around a hazy clearing, with an iron fence and a distant church spire dissolving into the fog. Soft brown mist, a faint glow in the sky and fine cracks across the aged surface give it the hush of an old, forgotten canvas.
