About this work
A fluffy cream golden retriever stands in profile on a windswept snowy hillside, head raised toward a far-off range of hazy blue mountains. Rolling drifts, a few dry golden grass tufts and bare winter branches frame the quiet scene.
The painting leans on thick palette-knife snow, a visible linen weave and softly brushed, feathery fur. Dusty powder blues and creamy whites are warmed by a low, butter-gold glow breaking through the winter haze, for a calm and cozy mood.

“I love it !!!! The colors are gorgeous and it looks amazing on my 50" Samung Frame TV. It really looks like a painting. The artist did an excellent job of making the picture look like it has texture and using colors that look soft like a painting instead of a picture.”
