About this work
A weathered wooden barn and tall stone silo rest on the edge of a harvest field, with a loose scatter of ripe pumpkins glowing in the foreground meadow. Rust-orange crops and golden-brown trees roll toward soft hills in the distance.
Above them, heavy plum and mauve clouds break into apricot and butter-cream light at the horizon. Thick palette-knife strokes and loosely brushed foliage give the scene a warm, muted, nostalgic feel.
