About this work
A pale golden sun glows through thick morning haze over a quiet mountain valley. A small log cabin sends a thin curl of smoke into the mist, and a few cattle graze in the amber meadow beside it, while distant hills dissolve softly into the fog.
On the right, tall pines and slender white birches lean over a steep, rocky hillside of rust-colored bracken and mossy boulders, with a lone walker far along the path. A clear stream winds through the stones in the foreground.
In the manner of a nineteenth-century Hudson River School oil painting, the brushwork is fine and softly blended, with a subtle canvas weave and a warm, dusty palette of apricot, ochre and olive. The mood is calm, nostalgic and gently contemplative.
In the painting

“I love it !!!! The colors are gorgeous and it looks amazing on my 50" Samung Frame TV. It really looks like a painting. The artist did an excellent job of making the picture look like it has texture and using colors that look soft like a painting instead of a picture.”
“I LOVE this print. It was so easy to upload and displays nicely on my Frame TV.”
“I’m absolutely obsessed with my new artwork! It looks great on the TV!”
