A mummy in sunglasses reclines on a big inflatable pink swan. One hand holds a tiki mug with a pineapple wedge, a cherry, a paper umbrella and a straw. Its loose wrappings and relaxed pose give the scene a laid-back, comic air.

The sea is painted in swirling teal strokes streaked with coral reflections. A dusk sky of lilac and peach sits above it, with a pale moon and a few bats in flight. A small palm-covered island rises on the right. The paint is thick and sculpted, and the strokes stay visible throughout.
