Five small, rounded ghosts with simple draped sheet-like bodies stand in a loose row across the lower-middle of the canvas, their feet trailing into scalloped points. Each has two small oval dark eyes, and some wear soft round pink blush marks on their cheeks.

Generous flat pink space fills the upper two-thirds, with no horizon or scenery, and a soft darker pink smear beneath each figure suggests a glossy floor. Thick impasto and palette-knife-like strokes throughout, under even, shadowless light, make the picture sweet, minimal and more charming than spooky.
