A vintage Santa Claus drawn in loose, gestural black ink, seated with an open book and a quill as he works through his Christmas list. His curling white beard is built from looping scribbled strokes, with denser hatching in the hat, cuffs and coat folds.

The sketch floats on warm, mottled cream paper with generous empty space around it, keeping the scene quiet and nostalgic, like a hushed page from an old storybook.
