About this work
Tall spruce and pine trees heavy with fresh snow rise over a smooth, drifting hillside, while layers of misty evergreen ridges and faraway snow-capped peaks fade into the haze.
Soft overcast light and a faint champagne glow at the horizon warm the pale blues and whites, with small flakes of snow falling across the scene. The blended, painterly rendering gives it a hushed, gallery-like calm.
In the painting
Snow-covered pines · Misty forested hills · Snowy mountain range · Snowfall · Winter meadow

“I love it !!!! The colors are gorgeous and it looks amazing on my 50" Samung Frame TV. It really looks like a painting. The artist did an excellent job of making the picture look like it has texture and using colors that look soft like a painting instead of a picture.”
