About this work
Two skiers in wool coats, a felt hat and burgundy scarves climb a windswept slope on long wooden skis and bamboo poles, while a third figure dissolves into the swirling haze behind them.
Painted in loose, wet-on-wet watercolor on grainy paper, the scene is built from soft storm grays, dusty khaki browns and warm paper-white snow. Edges bleed and fade into the blizzard, leaving a quiet, nostalgic mood with plenty of open, snowy space.

“I love it !!!! The colors are gorgeous and it looks amazing on my 50" Samung Frame TV. It really looks like a painting. The artist did an excellent job of making the picture look like it has texture and using colors that look soft like a painting instead of a picture.”
