About this work
Rows of faceted mountain ridges are stacked one above another, each outlined by a fine raised white line. The colours shift from warm cream at the top through pale grey-blue to a dark slate at the bottom.
The lowest ridges are filled with thin branching lines like leaf veins, which turns the peaks into a pattern. The surface looks like plaster or textured paper in low relief, giving the geometric landscape a calm, tactile feel.
