Interlocking circles and curving bands fill the canvas, built up in thick, ridged paint that catches the light. Terracotta, mustard, cream and sage sit against deep chocolate brown. Small rounded tiles of slate blue and grey-green are scattered between the bands.

Two figures are hidden in the pattern. A long raised arm curves around the circle on the left, and a pale face in profile looks across the right-hand side. The effect is rhythmic and tactile, like a carved relief or a mid-century mural.
